This is a color portrait for a character of mine in the Universe in my head, one Captain Bru, hand drawn and then scanned-in and colored in Gimp. It came out pretty well, but I'm still not entirely decided upon just what media I'll use to create my comic. I'd like to try and use as little digital manipulation, including coloring, as possible, but we'll see how things go.

Looks very good. I guess the Gimp is still the shit. I kind of like the idea of digital comics, as seen here: [link]

Thanks! Oh, I'll still probably use digital trickery here and there (thanks for the link, by the way, quite thought provoking!), but I want it to have the look and feel of pen and paper and watercolor paints.
