MST3K Action Figures

I made these custom action figures based on the TV show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K) back in 1999. I basically took Star Wars action figures and resculpted and painted them to resemble characters from the show.

From left to right we have: Pearl Forester, Observer/Brain Guy, Professor Bobo, Professor Bobo in ancient Roman "Mad Goth" clothing/armor, Mike Nelson, Tom Servo (big), Tom Servo (action figure size), Joel Robinson, Crow T. Robot, TV's Frank, Doctor Clayton Forester and lastly Timmy.

The robots I had to construct entirely out of sculpy, paperclay and wires. The larger Tom Servo is actually older than the action figures, from around 1995-1996 or so.

All in all, I'm still pleased with how they came out, but these are nearly ten years old now and I'd like to try my hand at creating some new figures from scratch sometime.
